Our team of engineers are not only professionals in the architecture sector, but also passionate cycling enthusiasts. So when we asked them to design a divider that was not only designed with drivers in mind, but also with the safety of cyclists, the ideas immediately started flowing.
They chose the essence of design, safety and sustainability, and thus the neucurve plastic barrier was born: a barrier designed to be both vehicle-friendly and safe for cyclists.
The Neucurve cycle lane separator is more than just a road divider: it is a device designed to segregate traffic and create a safe environment for cyclists. That is why, at Neusus Urban, we take the enormous responsibility of designing a device that guarantees the safety of cycle lane users.
Furthermore, we wanted to do so with absolute environmental awareness, which is why this divider is manufactured using only recycled raw materials extracted by ourselves from urban mining and with planet-friendly processes, such as using clean energy in the process.
Designed to be overtaken by cyclists and deter vehicles.
Designed and approved to comply with the standards of UNE 135902:2020
Our anchoring system is designed to make installing our separators quick and easy. We estimate that around 40% of the cost of a cycle lane is represented by the labour involved in installing it, so we know that it is vitally important to take this into account when designing it.
The internal structure of the NEUCURVE separator is robust, consisting of large ribs that allow for the use of only two anchoring points.
Option to add customised logo or text.
Interchangeable 360º reflective strip.
Non-slip texture.
Made from 100% recycled material.
L: 800 mm W: 200 mm H: 100 mm
The reflectance is the part of the cycle lane separator that suffers most from use. The sun, vehicle tyres and external agents can damage it. That is why our NEUCURVE separator is the first on the market designed to allow the reflectance to be replaced without having to replace the entire separator, as it does not need to be dismantled.
With a simple click, the separator will look as good as new.
This means that the part has a service life 3 times longer than that of a conventional separator, saving local councils thousands of euros in maintenance costs.
Our NEUCURVE separator is made from 100% recycled plastic sourced from our own facilities. This plastic, obtained from recycling cables that have reached the end of their useful life, is extracted using renewable energy.
Furthermore, as the materials come from our own facilities, we can ensure complete traceability, controlling quality at every step. This control allows us to design 100% sustainable production methods.
